Requirements
- Current and valid state RN License.
- Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
- Basic Arrythmia Interpretation required.
- Current ACLS certificate 30 days required.
- Minimum of one year as a staff RN in acute care hospital, critical care required.
- NRP (AHA) certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
- One year experience in an acute care setting with experience in nursery or NICU required.
Responsibilities
- Monitors patient condition and reports changes to physicians
- Communicates diagnostic results, symptoms, and clinical findings
- Responds promptly and accurately to changes in patient status
- Maintains patient privacy and confidentiality
- Provides direct patient care to assigned patients
