About The Position

Preferred Care Home Health is seeking a compassionate, self-motivated Registered Nurse to provide one-on-one skilled nursing care in patients’ homes. The role offers the independence of home health care with support from an experienced clinical team. The organization, founded in 2004 by a Registered Nurse, provides home health care to Florida families.

The nurse delivers skilled visits, assesses patients, develops individualized care plans, administers medications and wound care, and provides other skilled nursing interventions. The role also involves educating patients and caregivers, coordinating care with physicians and the clinical team, and completing timely, accurate documentation, including OASIS. This is a full-time, field-based position with a Monday–Friday schedule of 8:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m.

Requirements

• Active Florida RN license (required).
• At least 2 years of hands-on nursing experience (required).
• Current BLS certification.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance.

Nice To Haves

• At least 1 year of Home Health experience (preferred).
• At least 1 year of OASIS documentation experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Deliver skilled nursing visits in patients’ homes.
