About The Position

The Registered Nurse (RN) works collaboratively as part of an interdisciplinary team to provide excellent patient care using evidence-based medicine and individualized care. The RN facilitates all aspects of the patient visit experience.

The position is in Trinity Health Grand Rapids’ family-friendly Birth Center, which has 24 postpartum beds, 11 labor and delivery beds, two operating room suites, and four triage rooms. The role is full-time, 36 hours per week, on the night shift.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited nursing school and program.
• Associate degree in nursing required.
• Licensed in the State of Michigan.
• RN experience required; new graduates must apply to the RN residency program.
• In Grand Rapids, nurses with an ADN must enroll in a BSN program within six months of hire and complete it within four years of hire.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
