Requirements
- 1+ years of Psychiatric experience, preferably in an adult setting, required.
- Previous ECT, PACU or Interventional experience required
- New York Registered Nurse (RN) License & Registration
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
Nice To Haves
- Passion for Behavioral Health
- Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree preferred
Responsibilities
- Ensures patient safety pre and post treatment through direct patient observation.
- Assists M.D. and anesthesia staff during procedures.
- Provides information and education to patients and families relating to ECT and medications.
- Provides orientation to other staff and students.
- Maintains patient electronic medical record.
- Verifies consents, medical clearance, and M.D. orders on all cases.
