About The Position

The Registered Nurse (RN) supports pre-op, intra-op, and PACU patient care at Eastgate Surgery Center, an ambulatory surgery center in Cincinnati, Ohio, that provides outpatient procedural care primarily for GI and endoscopies. The RN assesses patients, delivers individualized nursing care, monitors recovery, and collaborates with the surgical team to help ensure safe, efficient procedures and optimal outcomes.

The center is owned and operated in partnership with BSMH and Gastro Health and combines advanced technology with compassionate, patient-centered care.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited RN program.
• Current, unencumbered Ohio RN license.
• At least 1 year of Endo nursing experience within the last 3–5 years.
• Current BLS certification.
• ACLS certification required within 6 months.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care throughout the perioperative process, including pre-op, intra-op, and PACU.
• Monitor patient status and respond to changes during recovery.
• Document accurately and communicate effectively with team members and patients.
• Maintain sterile environments and adhere to safety protocols.
• Support patient education and post-op instructions.
