About The Position
The Registered Nurse provides patient care in the Med/Surg, Ortho unit at Baptist South. The role addresses patient needs through the nursing process—assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation—and in alignment with the organization’s mission. The nurse organizes and supervises care provided by supportive personnel and coordinates care provided by ancillary services. The Registered Nurse includes patients and their significant others or families in developing individualized plans of care, educates them about disease processes and care plans, and serves as a patient advocate. The role provides care to patients requiring treatment for medical, surgical, or other conditions, including chronic medical conditions and minor injuries or illnesses.
Responsibilities
