About The Position
The Recovery Village Columbus Drug and Alcohol Rehab (RVC) is seeking dynamic and compassionate Registered Nurses to join their TEAM. RVC is dedicated to connecting those struggling with substance use disorder to hope, offering comprehensive treatment from detox to discharge. Their multidisciplinary approach, delivered by experienced physicians, clinicians, and addiction specialists, addresses the root causes of addiction while promoting mind and body healing through amenities like yoga and art therapy. Located in Groveport, Ohio, RVC is an 80-bed facility providing a full continuum of care, including medical detox, inpatient treatment, outpatient care, and aftercare. Requirements
- Minimum Associate's Degree in Nursing.
- Licensed to practice in the State of licensure (RN), active and in good standing.
- Minimum two years' experience as a Registered Nurse preferred.
- Behavioral health experience preferred.
- Ability to administer medications as indicated and monitor detoxification process.
- Ability to assess the medical and psychiatric needs of the patient determine the urgency of their needs and expedite treatment is required.
- Ability to educate patients about medications, health issues and medical conditions.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- Minimum two years' experience as a Registered Nurse.
- Behavioral health experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate care and support to patients seeking addiction and mental health treatment.
- Monitor patient progress and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create individualized care plans.
- Administer medications as indicated and monitor the detoxification process.
- Assess the medical and psychiatric needs of the patient, determine the urgency of their needs, and expedite treatment.
- Educate patients about medications, health issues, and medical conditions.
