Requirements

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
  • Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems.

Nice To Haves

  • Oncology nursing experience.
  • Chemotherapy administration certification (e.g., OCN).
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
  • Previous experience in an acute care setting.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care within the scope of nursing practice.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
  • Monitor patient conditions and document observations.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
  • Educate patients and families about health conditions and treatment plans.
  • Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients.
