About The Position

The Registered Nurse (RN) provides patient care using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Under the supervision of Charge Nurse(s), the RN provides patient education and activities in accordance with their competencies and education. The role requires strong communication and critical-thinking skills to support optimal patient outcomes. The position includes a 7.5% evening shift differential.

Requirements

Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
Maintain current Registered Nurse licensure in the state of employment.
Obtain and maintain CPR certification.
Position is available only to applicants who reside in the United States.

Nice To Haves

A minimum of one year of clinic experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist in assessing and planning individual treatment programs in consultation with Charge Nurse(s) and other staff as needed.
Implement medical plans by administering medications, obtaining diagnostic tests, and assisting with medical or minor surgical procedures as needed.
Count controlled substances and provide clinical and technical aspects of care according to established policies, procedures, and protocols.
Document nursing encounters using SOAP charting as required by policy.
Attend mandatory staff meetings and training.
Communicate information to nursing staff, physicians, health care unit supervisory personnel, and other staff as necessary.
