About The Position

Wellfound Behavioral Health Hospital is seeking a compassionate and skilled Psychiatric Registered Nurse to join their inpatient team. This is a .9 FTE position, involving three 12-hour shifts per week with rotating weekends. The hospital is a 120-bed adult inpatient psychiatric facility in Tacoma, WA, holding accreditations from the Department of Health and the Joint Commission. This role is eligible for a $12,500 sign-on bonus with a one-year commitment. The position promotes and restores patient’s mental health in a safe and therapeutic environment through direct nursing care, participation in care plans and wrap-around services, and providing physical and psychological support. RNs offer clinical leadership, maintain a positive attitude in problem-solving, and foster harmonious relationships with patients. They also serve as role models, promoting Wellfound Values, a positive work environment, and efficient, quality patient care.

Requirements

Associate degree in nursing, BSN preferred.
Current Washington State license without restrictions or accepted compact license.
One year inpatient psychiatric nursing experience required.
Strong nursing assessment skills.
Basic Life Support (BLS) card through American Heart Association or American Red Cross required.
Union Membership: As a condition of employment, you must join the SEIU Union within thirty (30) calendar days of employment and remain a member in good standing of the Union, unless you submit and are approved for a religious exemption.

Responsibilities
