Join Baylor Scott and White Medical Center - McKinney as a Registered Nurse and be part of something better! Our PACU unit is a fast-paced environment that includes high acuity patients. Are you looking to increase your knowledge base? Our PACU leadership team fosters an environment that supports learning, mentoring, and building every team member. The patient population includes GI, IR, CV and OR patients with a patient ratio of 1:2 across 12 beds.
Requirements
- Graduated from an Accredited Program.
- Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in PACU or ICU.
- Specialized field of study should be nursing.
- RN license.
- Must have BLS certification or obtain it within 30 days of starting in this role.
Responsibilities
- Provide care for GI, IR, CV and OR patients in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit.
- Manage a patient ratio of 1:2.
- Participate in on-call duties, including weekday and weekend shifts.
- Foster an environment that supports learning, mentoring, and building every team member.
