The RN operates within the scope of practice defined by the State Nurse Practice Act and delegates appropriate care responsibilities to Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs). The RN manages comprehensive patient care through physical assessments, nursing diagnoses, care plan development, and interdisciplinary team collaboration.
