About The Position
The areas highest quality post-acute rehabilitation and skilled nursing residence providing a warm and compassionate small home environment in a state-of-the-art-community. This role involves providing care from 3:00pm - 11:30pm including every other weekend and some holidays. Requirements
- Current, unencumbered license to practice as a RN in the State of NJ.
- Current AHA CPR Certificate.
- Minimum (1) year experience in nursing specialty of Geriatrics or Long-Term Care.
- Flu vaccine required during flu season.
Nice To Haves
- BSN preferred.
- Some post-acute experience required.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care in a post-acute rehabilitation and skilled nursing residence.
- Work a shift from 3:00pm - 11:30pm.
- Work every other weekend and some holidays.
- Provide compassionate, quality long-term nursing care.
- Offer comprehensive post-acute rehabilitation with round-the-clock skilled and sub-acute nursing services.
- Promote socialization and increase the quality of life for elders through recreational activities and special programs.
- Provide purposeful living and person-centered care in a supportive environment.
- Respect and honor personal preferences of the people served.
