Registered Nurse Full Time Days
About The Position
Bradenton Rehabilitation Hospital, opening in March 2026, is hiring a full-time Registered Nurse for day shifts. The hospital will have 60 private patient rooms and two rehabilitation therapy gyms equipped with cutting-edge technology. The nurse provides direct and indirect patient care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation; coordinates nursing care plans with patients, families, and interdisciplinary staff; communicates changes in patients’ clinical conditions to physicians, nursing supervisors or managers, and coworkers; and participates in discharge planning. Pay is based on years of experience and qualifications.
Requirements
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association and/or American Red Cross; online certification is not acceptable.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational, time-management, and prioritization skills.
- Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to meet strict time frames.
Nice To Haves
- Inpatient rehabilitation experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
- Develop nursing care plans in coordination with patients, families, and interdisciplinary staff as needed.
- Communicate changes in patients’ clinical conditions to physicians, the nursing supervisor or manager, and coworkers as appropriate.
- Participate in the discharge planning process.
