About The Position

The Registered Nurse (RN) position at Immanuel Communities, specifically at Newport House in Omaha, NE, focuses on providing comprehensive care to residents in a long-term care (LTC) setting. The role emphasizes ensuring residents are cared for mentally, spiritually, and physically, with a primary focus on their safety, freedom from pain or abuse, and treatment with dignity and respect. Newport House offers a supportive, resident-focused environment with skilled nursing/rehabilitation suites and long-term care suites.

Requirements

Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the respective state in which he/she is employed is required.
Minimum of one (1) year of progressive experience in and assisted living or skilled care community or related experience is required.
Equivalent years of education may substitute for experience requirement.
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Responsibilities

Assure the residents are cared for mentally, spiritually and in health.
Ensure the residents are safe and free from pain or abuse.
Ensure residents are treated with dignity and respect.
