About The Position

DaVita is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide acute-care dialysis in a hospital setting for patients with end-stage renal disease and chronic kidney conditions. The role involves working directly with patients in ICU, CCU, ED, and other acute-care units in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Dialysis experience is not required; paid training is provided. Nurses may work across different hospital units and rotate between facilities as needed. Schedules include regular and on-call shifts, weekends, and holidays, and may change daily according to patient needs.

Requirements

• Current RN license in the state of practice.
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required.
• Must pass a color vision test; accommodations are available.
• Full vaccination against COVID-19 may be required by hospitals in the program, potentially including a booster when eligible.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• ICU, CCU, ER, or Med/Surg experience is helpful but not required.
• CNN or CDN certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver inpatient dialysis therapies, including hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, CRRT, and apheresis.
• Collaborate with hospital teams and DaVita clinical staff.
• Monitor patients, adjust treatment, and ensure quality outcomes.
• Support and oversee patient care with the help of PCTs.
• Adapt quickly to a dynamic hospital environment.
