Registered Nurse (RN) - No Weekends
About The Position
Southern Pain & Spine is expanding its clinical team and seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to support patients receiving advanced interventional pain care. Our board-certified providers create individualized treatment plans and utilize minimally invasive procedures to help patients reduce pain and improve function. This role offers a Monday-Friday schedule with no weekends, a supportive, team-oriented clinical environment, and the opportunity to participate in surgical and recovery-related care with a patient-focused approach to interventional pain treatment. Requirements
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Active RN license in good standing
- Current BLS certification
- Knowledge of professional nursing standards and applicable state Nurse Practice Act
- Strong patient assessment and clinical monitoring abilities
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication
- Strong organization and attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced setting
Nice To Haves
- BSN
- 1+ year of OR and/or PACU experience
- CPAN certification
- Surgical or procedural nursing experience
- C-Arm/fluoroscopy experience
- Knowledge of appropriate scrub procedures
- Microsoft Office proficiency
Responsibilities
- Gather comprehensive patient histories and perform nursing assessments.
- Monitor vital signs, levels of consciousness, and changes in patient condition.
- Recognize and communicate abnormal findings or diagnostic information to the appropriate clinical team members.
- Develop and update individualized care plans and evaluate patient responses.
- Provide patient and family education and maintain clear communication throughout the care process.
- Coordinate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to promote safe, effective care.
- When assigned to procedures, prepare the surgical area, equipment, and supplies.
- Assist physicians during surgical and interventional procedures.
- Monitor patients before, during, and following procedures.
- Follow infection prevention, safety, and clinical protocols.
- Complete accurate EHR documentation of care, interventions, and patient outcomes.
- Operate C-Arm/fluoroscopic equipment under surgeon direction when applicable.
- Participate in continuing education and maintain current clinical knowledge.
