About The Position

Seeking a Registered Nurse for Baptist Health ER & Urgent Care Sellersburg. This is a full-time, mid-shift position (11 AM - 11 PM). The RN will be responsible and accountable for direct comprehensive nursing care for patients from admission to discharge. The Registered Nurse will function as an on-shift team member providing direct patient care to meet the needs of patients, families, and co-workers in an ER/Urgent Care setting. This hybrid emergency room and urgent care provides both types of care conveniently under one roof, offering patients the appropriate level of care in a simple, cost-effective one-stop location. The emergency room operates 24/7 with transport services for high-acuity emergencies. Nurses at this location will have a background or training in emergency care. On-site imaging and laboratory services are available.

Requirements

• Graduate of approved nursing program.
• Current Indiana or compact state RN license.
• BLS for Healthcare Provider required.
• PALS required within 12 months of hire.
• ACLS required within 12 months of hire.
• NIH Stroke Scale Certification required within 10 weeks of hire.

Nice To Haves

• Previous ER experience preferred.
