Registered Nurse - 6 S Critical Care Unit
About The Position
Responsible for assessing the physiological, emotional, and spiritual needs of each patient within the assigned unit area and planning nursing care to meet those needs. Ensures nursing care plans are carried out through direct performance and/or leadership of subordinate personnel. The position follows McLaren Flint standards of nursing practice, using a systematic approach and the nursing process. It includes assessing and documenting each patient’s status on admission and continuously thereafter, including in procedural areas, and developing written plans of care with short- and long-range goals and nursing actions.
Requirements
- Michigan licensure as a Registered Nurse.
- BLS certification.
- ACLS certification within 6 months of hire or transfer for specified units, including CCU and ICU.
