About The Position

The Registered Professional Nurse (RN) is in a leadership and educator role, providing both patient care and education to direct reports, including researching, training, guiding, and providing instruction to any direct reports. The RN assesses the full scope of patient needs using the nursing process on a continuous basis. They provide a safe environment for patients and employees through identifying/correcting/reporting health and safety hazards. The role involves cooperating with the distribution of resources to maintain a therapeutic environment, maintaining interpersonal relationships with patients, visitors, and co-workers, and being accountable for nursing practice through planned and continuous professional growth and development. The RN uses the knowledge and judgment needed to meet the nursing needs of patients and serves in a leadership role through clinical practice, supervision, teaching, and research. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

  • Microsoft Office
  • Excellent written, oral, and communication skill.
  • The ability to adapt to new software, equipment, and tasks that take place daily.

  • Infection Control.
  • Ability to react calmly in emergency situations.
  • Knowledge of professional nursing theory, practices, and regulations to give and evaluate patient care.
  • Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
  • Currently licensed as a Registered Professional Nurse in the state of Ohio.
  • Working knowledge of how a medical office runs.
  • BLS or CPR required.

Nice To Haves

  • At least one year of experience working in the medical field would be preferred but not required.
