About The Position

The Registered Nurse (RN) in the SICU (Surgical Intensive Care Unit) will evaluate assigned patients and plan, implement, and document nursing care. This role involves delivering excellent nursing care to a diverse patient population with complex concerns. The RN will perform various patient tests, administer medications within their scope of practice, and promote patients' independence by establishing care goals and teaching patients and families about their conditions, medications, and self-care skills. This position relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing
PA Registered Nurse License
Experience working with a variety of different, complex patient populations including surgical trauma patients, cardiothoracic, Transplant surgery (Kidney and liver) neurosurgical, and general surgical patients.
