About The Position

Florry Creative Care Corporation is an approved Nurse Registry providing skilled and non-skilled home care services, case management, and healthcare staffing throughout the communities we serve. We are currently seeking a compassionate, dependable, and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to provide home-based nursing services, client assessments, care planning, and clinical support. This position offers flexible scheduling and the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors and individuals with disabilities.

Requirements

  • Current and unrestricted Florida Registered Nurse (RN) license or qualifying Compact RN license
  • Successful Level II background screening
  • Current CPR/First Aid/AED certification
  • Valid driver's license
  • Current automobile insurance
  • Reliable transportation for local travel
  • Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills
  • Ability to work independently in a home-care environment
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Compassionate and professional approach to patient care

Responsibilities

  • Conduct home visits and telehealth visits as assigned
  • Complete nursing assessments, vital signs, and client evaluations
  • Develop and update plans of care and skilled nursing progress notes
  • Communicate with physicians and obtain plans of treatment as needed
  • Provide medication administration and skilled nursing care within scope of practice
  • Perform wound care, catheter care, tracheostomy care, bowel or colostomy care, and G-tube care as appropriate
  • Provide client and family education regarding health conditions and care needs
  • Monitor client condition and report significant changes to the Director of Nursing
  • Conduct quarterly client surveys throughout the company's service area
  • Assist with Special Needs Shelter applications and emergency preparedness registration when applicable
  • Participate in health and wellness seminars, screenings, and educational activities
  • Assist with community outreach and partnership development when needed
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
  • Follow HIPAA requirements, nursing standards, company policies, and applicable professional standards
