Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical Ortho Neuro
About The Position
The Registered Nurse is responsible for the delivery of safe patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation. This role provides direct patient care within the scope of practice, directs and guides patient/family teaching, and oversees activities of other nursing personnel while maintaining standards of care in the Med/Surg/Telemetry Unit. The Registered Nurse is directly responsible and accountable for the care given to their assigned patients, communicating with physicians about changes in patient’s clinical condition including cardiac monitoring, diagnostic study results, and symptomatology. The nurse must be able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in patient condition and/or response to treatment.
Requirements
- Current and valid state RN License
- Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current
- Current ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current
- Basic Arrythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire
Nice To Haves
- Previous Acute Care hospital experience
- Ventilator Management experience
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
