About The Position
The Nursing Department in the Manhattan campus is seeking full-time Registered Nurses (RNs) for 12-hour day or night shift assignments on the Upper West Side of Manhattan. Full-time RNs are eligible for a $5000 sign-on bonus, with prorated bonuses for part-time positions. Under the direction of the Nurse Manager/Supervisor, the RN plans, administers, and assists in all activities on a specific Nursing Unit, in a manner consistent with The New Jewish Home mission, vision, and values.
Requirements
- Must be a Registered Nurse (RN).
Responsibilities
- Participates in, monitors and reports about the quality of life and care issues of residents/clients.
- Participates in the assessment of residents/clients.
- Participates in the management of the Environmental of Care as it relates to the safety of residents/clients and staff.
- Participates in the surveillance, prevention and control of infection, by adhering to and ensuring compliance of staff with infection control policies and procedures.
- Performs other related duties as directed.
