About The Position

Under general supervision, the Registered Nurse provides individualized, goal-directed care to patients and families at a competent level using the principles and practices of the nursing process. The nurse delivers safe and effective care and works with other members of the health care team to achieve desired results.

This role is in Endoscopy at the Medical University Hospital Authority. The schedule is 40 hours per week, with hours listed as 6:30 a.m.–3:00 p.m. A sign-on bonus of $18,000 is offered to experienced new hires.

Requirements

• Associate degree in nursing.
• Licensure as a registered nurse by the South Carolina Board of Nursing or a compact state.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or a recognized equivalent, or American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider certification.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification is required.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing is preferred.
