About The Position

We are seeking an active Registered Nurse (RN) with a minimum of 2 years of recent Emergency Room (ER) and Medical-Surgical (Med/Surg) experience. The role requires current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications and involves working 3x12-hour day shifts in a fast-paced rural hospital setting. The nurse must be comfortable floating between the ER and Med/Surg units and possess strong skills in emergency assessment, critical thinking, medication administration, and patient care. Excellent communication, documentation, and interdisciplinary teamwork skills are essential.

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
• Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room (ER) and Medical-Surgical (Med/Surg) experience required.
• Current AHA BLS certification required.
• Current AHA ACLS certification required.
• Strong emergency assessment skills.
• Strong critical thinking skills.
• Strong medication administration skills.
• Strong patient care skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Excellent documentation skills.
• Excellent interdisciplinary teamwork skills.

Nice To Haves

• PALS certification preferred.
• TNCC certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in Emergency Room (ER) and Medical-Surgical (Med/Surg) units.
