Registered Nurse - Fulltime DAY RN
About The Position
Centurion is seeking a full-time day Registered Nurse (RN) to join its team at Martin Correctional Institution in Indiantown, Florida. Centurion provides comprehensive healthcare services to the Florida Department of Corrections. The Medical Registered Nurse provides holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients within the appropriate scope of practice. The RN works under the direction of the Director of Nursing (DON) and/or Nursing Supervisor and collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to identify, assess, and respond to patients’ physical, psychological, and social needs. The schedule consists of three 12-hour day shifts, every other weekend.
Requirements
- Associate’s degree.
- Registered Nurse (RN) license or ability to obtain one.
- Active, appropriate certification in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR).
- Ability to obtain a security clearance, including a drug screen and criminal background check.
Responsibilities
- Provide holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients within the appropriate scope of practice.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to identify, assess, and respond to patients’ physical, psychological, and social needs.
