About The Position

We are seeking dedicated nursing professionals to join our long-term care team for evening and night shifts. This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patient care while working in a supportive environment. This is a full-time position with 36 hours per week. The schedule includes two 12-hour shifts from 5:45 PM to 6:00 AM. The remaining hours may be a single 12-hour night shift or three 4-hour evening shifts, typically from 5:45 PM to 10:00 PM. Guaranteed hours each week are 36. Overtime is available once scheduled hours reach 48 in a workweek. The flu vaccine is not required for this position. This position is located in Hoxie, KS. While housing options in Hoxie are limited, there are several hotels available in Colby, KS, which is approximately 34 miles away.

Requirements

• Current registered nurse (RN) license in Kansas or a multistate license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in long-term care is preferred but not mandatory

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care and support during evening and overnight shifts
• Administer medications and complete necessary charting
• Deliver comprehensive care to residents, attending to their needs
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure high-quality patient care
