Seasonal Registered Nurse (RN) - Cardiac Telemetry

About The Position
The Registered Nurse provides high-quality, safe, cost-effective, comprehensive nursing care to patients. The RN coordinates the overall patient experience and integrates patient care using the nursing process. The RN directs patient-focused care according to safety, risk management, quality improvement, and infection control standards, with the goal of discharging patients after providing an optimal level of care. This is a per-diem seasonal night-shift position in Cardiac Telemetry.
Requirements
- Meet the education requirements recognized by the State of Florida for Registered Nurse licensure.
- Hold a Registered Nurse license in the State of Florida.
- Hold American Heart Association BLS certification.
- For telemetry and higher-acuity units, hold ACLS certification from the American Heart Association and have basic EKG interpretation skills.

Responsibilities
- Report for scheduled shifts on time and prepared to assume responsibilities.
- Attend and participate in meetings and take responsibility for information communicated at meetings.

- Assist patients, family members, physicians, visitors, and employees in a professional and courteous manner.
- Follow infection control procedures.
- Adhere to environmental care standards.
- Adapt care to varied age-specific patient populations.
