Registered Nurse (RN) - New Grad AHRT Float
About The Position
Sentara Obici Hospital in Suffolk, Virginia, is hiring new graduate Registered Nurses into its Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) / Medical Surgical AHRT Float Program. This program offers new graduate RNs the chance to gain experience on multiple different units. A sign-on bonus of $7,500 is available with no commitment or contract required. The program is designed for licensed new graduate Registered Nurses who will orient and work on Medical Surgical Units and Intermediate Care Units (IMCU/Stepdown) to gain valuable nursing experience. Participants will receive full-time benefits and new graduate pay while working on a Rotation Team for diverse patient experiences. Rotation between inpatient units occurs every 12 weeks, and participants may remain in the program for a maximum of 2 years. After one year, participants are eligible to apply to any unit of their choice.
Requirements
- Virginia or Compact Multi-State License in good standing
- Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days of employment
- RN-Associate’s Degree OR RN-Bachelor’s Degree OR RN-Diploma OR RN-Master’s Degree
Responsibilities
