About The Position

This position provides primary care to patients, including assessment, treatment, care planning, and medical care evaluation. Supports the organization in fulfilling the mission, vision, and values of Logan Health. Logan Health Medical Center has a Full-Time opening for a Registered Nurse to be part of its dedicated ICU team! This position is located in scenic Kalispell, MT in the heart of the Flathead Valley. Requirements

  • Current Montana RN license or a multi-state compact license with authorization to practice nursing within the state of Montana.
  • Possess knowledge of professional nursing theory, medical terminology and principles of professional practice to administer and evaluate patient care.
  • Healthcare Provider (HCP) CPR and/or BLS certification required as dictated by each practice/service line.
  • ACLS & NIHSS must be obtained within 6 months of hire.

Nice To Haves

  • BSN degree preferred.
  • Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a similar position preferred.
  • Open Heart experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provides primary care to patients, including assessment, treatment, care planning, and medical care evaluation.
  • Delivers therapies like continuous renal replacement therapy, intubation, intracranial pressure monitoring, and advanced cardiac support with devices like Impella and balloon pumps.
  • Works with complex cases.
  • Works both independently and within a cohesive team.
  • Enhances skills to deliver top-tier patient care.
  • Builds strong professional relationships.
  • Gains experience with a diverse patient demographic.
  • Works in an innovative unit that values each team member’s input.
  • Utilizes cutting-edge technology and protocols, including invasive hemodynamic monitoring, continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT), and more.
