Requirements

Nursing degree from an approved school of nursing.
Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Dakota OR in a compact state.

For experienced nurses, at least two (2) years of clinical experience within an emergency or acute care setting is preferred

Responsibilities

Utilize the full scope of nursing skills – assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating comprehensive care for a diverse patient population experiencing everything from minor injuries to life-threatening emergencies.
Rapid Assessment & Intervention: You'll be the first point of contact for patients in critical moments, quickly assessing their needs, initiating life-saving interventions, and stabilizing conditions.
Dynamic Patient Care: From trauma and cardiac events to acute illnesses and unexpected injuries, you'll manage a wide array of patient presentations, often simultaneously, always with a focus on delivering compassionate and efficient care.
Collaborative Teamwork: You'll work hand-in-hand with an incredible multidisciplinary team including ED physicians, specialists, technologists, and support staff, ensuring seamless transitions of care and optimal patient outcomes.
Patient & Family Advocacy: In the fast-paced ED, you'll be a source of comfort and clear communication for patients and their anxious families, providing updates, explanations, and emotional support.
Crisis Management: Demonstrating proficiency in crisis situations, you'll efficiently manage critical events, adapting quickly to evolving circumstances, and playing a crucial role in patient stabilization.
