About The Position

RadNet is seeking a Registered Nurse to join a team delivering quality patient care in a clinical imaging setting. The role involves administering injections, monitoring patients, supporting procedures, and helping respond to patient reactions or injuries. The nurse is expected to protect patient health information, property, and medications; treat patients and coworkers professionally and respectfully; and communicate effectively while prioritizing work in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Current and appropriate state license(s) to practice as a Registered Nurse.
• Current and valid ACLS certification.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
• Passion for patient care, sound judgment, and professionalism in all situations.
• Effective professional communication and interpersonal skills, with respect for patients, guests, and colleagues.
• Structured approach to work, ability to understand complex problems, and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Administer injections and monitor patients during and after administration.
• Perform post-biopsy vital-sign checks when applicable.
• Access central lines and ports and initiate IV access.
• Draw laboratory specimens peripherally or through a central line.
• Assist with hypersensitivity reactions and provide preliminary examinations and vital signs in the event of an accident or injury at the center.
• Safeguard patient property and patient health information.
• Safeguard on-site medications in accordance with company policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
• Respect company property, including cash and patient financial information on-site or in patient portals.
• Maintain professional behavior toward patients and coworkers and respond to others’ needs.
• Respect patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities.
• Interact diplomatically and sympathetically with patients, their families, and the public in a clinical setting.
• Establish, nurture, and maintain cooperative working relationships.
