Requirements
- Current and valid state RN License.
- Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
- Basic Arrythmia Interpretation required upon hire and maintain current.
- Current ACLS certificate required upon hire and maintain current.
- Previous one year of PCU experience required.
Responsibilities
- Provides safe, direct patient care.
- Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates patient care.
- Educates patients and families.
- Supervises and supports nursing staff.
- Monitors patient status and telemetry.
- Communicates clinical changes to physicians.
- Responds rapidly to changes in patient condition.
- Accountable for assigned patient outcomes.
