RN Registered Nurse RN Full Time Nights
About The Position
Vibra Permanent Staffing is recruiting experienced Registered Nurses for a direct-hire, full-time position at Louisiana Extended Care Hospital - Lafayette in Lafayette, Louisiana. The role is in a specialized long-term acute care setting serving high-acuity patients recovering from complex medical conditions, including ICU and critical care patients. Full-time night shifts are available, and charge nurse capabilities are required. Requirements
- Current, valid, active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment.
- Current BLS certification.
- Current ACLS certification, or obtain ACLS within 90 days of hire.
- Active RN license in Louisiana or a compact state.
- Charge nurse capabilities required.
- Strong clinical judgment and commitment to excellence in patient care.
- Compassionate, team-oriented mindset.
Nice To Haves
- At least one year of acute care, ICU, or LTAC experience is strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to critically ill or medically complex patients.
- Collaborate with physicians and an interdisciplinary team to coordinate individualized care plans.
- Monitor patient progress, administer medications and treatments, and document clinical findings.
- Educate patients and families and advocate for long-term health and recovery.
- Maintain compliance with policies, standards, and regulatory guidelines.
