About The Position

The Clare, a luxury residential community and the only Continuing Care Retirement Community in the Gold Coast area, is seeking to fill a Full-Time RN role in our Skilled Nursing Care Unit. This position involves providing direct nursing care, supervising CNAs, managing resident admissions, transfers, and discharges, administering medications and treatments, and maintaining high standards of resident care. The role requires responding to crises and contributing to the facility's philosophy through quality nursing care.

Requirements

• Current nursing license valid in Illinois
• CPR certified.
• Weekend availability REQUIRED.

Nice To Haves

• Greater than 2 years clinical experience preferred.
• One-year long term care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct nursing care to the residents and supervises and coordinates the activities performed by the CNAs in order to ensure a high degree of quality care is maintained.
• Responsible for admissions, transfers, and discharges of residents.
• Administers medications and treatments and maintains proper charting for the unit all in accordance with federal, state and local standards and regulations and department policies and procedures.
• Maintains a high standard of resident care.
• Responds immediately to all crisis and/or calls for assistance.
• Assists in maintaining the facility’s and Nursing Service’s philosophy through quality nursing care.
