About The Position

AMG Specialty Hospital – Muncie is seeking a Full Time Registered Nurse (RN) for Night Shifts. We are located on the 5th floor of IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital. The role involves direct and indirect patient care in an acute care setting, managing complex medical conditions such as respiratory failure requiring ventilation, complicated infections, and chronic non-healing wounds. We offer a high staff-to-patient ratio to ensure individualized attention.

Requirements

  • Active Indiana Registered Nurse Licensure
  • Current BLS certification
  • Current ACLS certification
  • Ability to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing
  • Basic computer knowledge

  • ICU experience
  • National certifications

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for direct and indirect patient care in the acute care setting.
  • Ability to communicate with physicians, CCO/co-workers, as appropriate about changes in patient's clinical condition including results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology.
  • Respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment.
  • Perform general nursing duties in all departments with adequate supervision.
