About The Position

DaVita is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide dialysis care at Grady Hospital for patients with end-stage renal disease and chronic kidney conditions. This is a fast-paced, collaborative acute-care role involving direct patient care in ICU, CCU, ED, and other hospital units. The nurse delivers inpatient dialysis therapies, monitors patients and adjusts treatments, supports care delivered with PCTs, and collaborates with hospital teams and DaVita clinical staff. The role involves working across hospital units and rotating between facilities as needed; schedules include regular and on-call shifts, weekends, and holidays, and may change based on patient needs. Full vaccination against COVID-19 is required by hospitals in this program, which may include a booster when eligible.

Requirements

Current RN license in the state of practice.
Dialysis experience required.
Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required.
Must pass a color vision test; accommodations are available.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
ICU, CCU, ER, or Med/Surg experience helpful but not required.
CNN/CDN certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Deliver inpatient dialysis therapies, including hemodialysis, apheresis (RBX), and sickle cell treatments.
Collaborate with hospital teams and DaVita clinical staff.
Monitor patients, adjust treatments, and ensure quality outcomes.
Support and oversee patient care with the help of PCTs.
Adapt quickly in a dynamic hospital environment.
