Requirements

Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN).
Ability to use a computer; proficiency with Microsoft Office products and ARIZE.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Willingness to be flexible is necessary.
Valid Ohio Driver’s License and maintains a driving record that allows for insurability.
Ability to handle bending, stooping, lifting, pushing, reaching, and walking for periods of time.
Must be able to lift 20 pounds independently.

Nice To Haves

3-5 years previous relevant experience preferred but not required.
Previous experience with adolescent population and psychiatric medicine helpful.

Responsibilities

Ensure a system is in place to meet the physical health needs of all youth, including triage services, direct services, coordination of services, and communication with pertinent individuals.
Manage medication and prescription acquisition, distribution, and administration, and follow up to ensure proper medication procedures are followed.
Create and implement training to ensure individuals and the region are aware of relevant medical needs of youth.
Ensure the program meets compliance standards for relevant regulating agencies.
Attend team meetings, complete health assessments for behavioral therapy plans, provide input to SFSA development, create/implement policies and procedures, participate in on-call duties/rotation, and maintain accurate and complete medical records in compliance with external agency expectations.
