Registered Nurse
About The Position
DaVita is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide acute care nephrology services in a hospital setting. This role involves delivering dialysis care to patients with end-stage renal disease and chronic kidney conditions, working in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment. The RN will work directly with patients in various acute care units such as ICU, CCU, and ED. The position offers paid training, so no prior dialysis experience is required. The role involves working in a variety of hospital units and rotating between facilities as needed, with a schedule that includes regular and on-call shifts, weekends, and holidays, and daily schedules that may change based on patient needs. Requirements
- Current RN license in the state of practice
- ADN required
- Must pass a color vision test (accommodations available)
Nice To Haves
- BSN preferred
- ICU, CCU, ER, or Med/Surg experience helpful but not required
- CNN/CDN certification (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Deliver inpatient dialysis therapies, including hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, CRRT, and apheresis
- Collaborate with hospital teams and DaVita clinical staff
- Monitor patients, adjust treatment, and ensure quality outcomes
- Support and oversee patient care with the help of PCTs
- Adapt quickly in a dynamic hospital environment
