About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in an acute care setting. The role requires effective use of EPIC for patient documentation and management, collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. The selected candidate will work night shifts of either 36 or 48 hours per week and is expected to work one holiday, with the option to take one holiday off.

Requirements

• State RN licensure in the state of practice.
• Current CPR or BLS certification from an approved vendor.
• ACLS certification from an approved vendor.
• PALS certification from an approved vendor.
• Completion of National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale training.
• Willingness to work during the holiday season and work an additional holiday.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN).
• Acute care facility experience.
• Extensive experience with EPIC.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in an acute care setting.
• Use EPIC software for patient documentation and management.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support optimal patient outcomes.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments.
• Monitor and assess patients' conditions and report changes to appropriate healthcare team members.
• Educate patients and their families on health maintenance and disease prevention.
