About The Position

This role is for a Registered Nurse in the Pediatric Cardiac ICU at Ascension Peyton Manning Children's Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana. The position is full-time, night shift. The nurse will be responsible for direct patient care and monitoring of pediatric intensive care patients, managing life support, ensuring pharmacological accuracy, and maintaining vascular integrity through advanced technical interventions. The role also involves serving as a clinical liaison, providing holistic advocacy and ethical support with an emphasis on family-centered care, and participating in rapid response situations, collaborating with emergency leadership and interdisciplinary partners, and upholding unit safety standards.

Requirements

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Registered Nurse credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Associate's Degree in Nursing by hire date to position required.
Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.

Nice To Haves

Pediatric Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.
Pediatric Critical Care or Cardiovascular experience preferred
