About The Position
Timbers of Jasper is hiring a Registered Nurse to support residents’ physical and psychosocial well-being. Nurses build meaningful relationships with residents and staff by learning their life stories and using their nursing skills to provide excellent care. The role calls for supportive presence, teamwork, leadership, collaboration, and respectful communication. Eligible nurses hired for evening or night shifts may receive a $12,500 sign-on bonus paid over two years; terms and conditions apply.
Requirements
- Hold a current and valid Registered Nurse license in Indiana.
- Have proficient medication management skills.
- Be able to conduct thorough assessments and accurately document changes in resident conditions.
- Have a strong passion for geriatric nursing and a commitment to senior care excellence.

Responsibilities
- Promote residents’ physical and psychosocial well-being through nursing care.
- Create a comforting and engaging atmosphere for residents.
- Promote teamwork within the care team to meet residents’ needs.
- Collaborate with nursing and other facility teams to coordinate comprehensive resident care.
- Conduct thorough assessments and accurately document changes in residents’ conditions.
- Manage medications.
- Support a respectful and positive work environment.
