About The Position

INTEGRIS Health is hiring a PRN Registered Nurse for its Emergency Department at INTEGRIS Health Miami in Miami, Oklahoma. The Staff Registered Nurse manages and delivers patient care using the nursing process, including assessment and reassessment, care planning, implementation of interventions, evaluation, and documentation. The nurse may be required to float to other units and participate in on-call status. The role requires population-specific competencies and adherence to applicable National Patient Safety Goals. The nurse may supervise and coordinate licensed and non-licensed personnel and provide guidance and mentorship to non-licensed personnel and students, as appropriate. This position reports to the appropriate manager, director, or vice president. Requirements

Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in Oklahoma or a current multistate license from a Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC) member state.
Basic Life Support (BLS) issued by the American Red Cross or American Heart Association within 30 days of hire. (The posting specifies a hospice-only CPR alternative, which does not apply to this Emergency Department role.)
Other certifications and competencies required based on service-line skill.

Responsibilities

Manage and deliver patient care utilizing the nursing process.
Assess and reassess patients.
Develop plans of care.
Implement appropriate patient care interventions.
Evaluate appropriate patient care interventions.
Document patient care.
Float to other units when required.
Participate in on-call status when required.
Supervise and coordinate other licensed and non-licensed personnel in providing patient care, as assigned.
Provide guidance and mentorship to non-licensed personnel and students, as appropriate.
Adhere to applicable National Patient Safety Goals.
Meet population-specific competencies.
