About The Position

We are seeking experienced Registered Nurses to join the Flex Pool, floating between various medical and surgical units. The role requires flexibility, excellent clinical skills, and the ability to adapt to different environments. Nurses work 12-hour day shifts from 0645 to 1915 and are scheduled for 36 hours per week after the first week of orientation. Hours are not guaranteed.

The nurse may float among a 77-bed Medical Unit, an 18-bed Laulima Surgical Acute Unit, and a 15-bed Cardiovascular Unit. An orientation program is provided for each unit. Professional nursing attire, including clean scrubs, is required, and participation in holiday coverage is required.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of nursing experience.
• Current State of Hawaii nurse license required upon acceptance of offer.
• General certifications: ACLS and BLS/BCLS.

Nice To Haves

• Preferred certifications: PALS, Procedural Sedation, TNCC, and ENPC.

Responsibilities

• Float between various medical and surgical units as needed.
• Provide high-quality patient care and support.
• Use Meditech EMR, Pyxis, wound vac, and chest tubes.
• Participate in holiday coverage.
