About The Position

Fir Lane Care, a Caldera Care facility, is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide nursing care to patients and help maintain a warm, welcoming, home-like environment. The role includes administering and documenting medications and treatments, monitoring patients’ vital signs, symptoms, and general condition, and providing health care instructions and support to patients and their families. The nurse collaborates with other team members to plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care and patient activities; assists with admissions, transfers, and discharges; and may assist with unit management or assume charge of a unit as assigned.

This is a night (NOC) shift position at Fir Lane Care in Shelton, Washington. The stated pay range is $45.00–$55.00 per hour, depending on experience. A $2,500 sign-on bonus is offered, paid in quarterly installments during the first year of hire.

Requirements

• Current and valid RN license.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Fast and adaptive problem-solving abilities.
• In-depth understanding of patient care policies and regulations.
• Physical strength and stamina.
• First aid and CPR certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients as assigned.
• Administer, observe, and record medications, treatments, vital signs, symptoms, and patients’ general condition.
• Reinforce support and provide health care instructions to patients and their families.
• Participate with other team members in planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care and other patient activities.
• Assist with patient admission, transfer, and discharge.
• Assist with unit management and/or assume charge of a unit as assigned.
