Registered Nurse - AH Mercy Emergency Department- Full Time Days
About The Position
As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum. Atrium Health Mercy is a full-service community hospital, specializing in the care of seniors and in complex foot and ankle surgery, hip and knee surgery, bariatric surgery, and women’s pelvic health. Atrium Health Mercy is Magnet designated in Nursing Excellence and is also a Planetree designated patient-centered hospital.
Requirements
- Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
- At least 6 months of RN experience
- Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
- ACLS Required within 6 months of hire
Nice To Haves
- 1 year of inpatient RN experience preferred
