About The Position

Under the direction of the Nurse Leader, the Registered Nurse is responsible for the quality of care for an assigned caseload of patients. This includes delegating duties appropriately and directing staff in the delivery of care, assuring responsibility for the appropriate utilization of resources, collaborating with medical staff and others in the provision of care, and demonstrating positive interpersonal relationships with others in communication and problem resolution. The role involves providing direct and indirect patient care in the hospital setting, communicating with physicians, Nurse Managers, and co-workers about changes in patient’s clinical condition, and responding quickly and accurately to changes in condition or treatment response. Additionally, the Registered Nurse is able to perform general nursing duties in all departments with adequate supervision.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Graduate from an accredited nursing school program required
  • Technical in Nursing required
  • Basic proficiency in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care
  • Adequate verbal and written communication skills to interact with patients, families, and healthcare teams
  • Capacity to collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals
  • Basic competency in documenting patient information accurately
  • Basic flexibility to adapt to changes in patient conditions and unit priorities
  • Attention to detail
  • Provides compassionate support to patients and families, ensuring positive environment in the hospital

Nice To Haves

  • Associate’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred
  • 1-2 years of clinical experience, particularly in an an acute care setting preferred
  • Proficiency in electronic documentation preferred
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills preferred
