Requirements
- Current, unrestricted Washington State Registered Nurse (RN) license or a valid multistate RN license with authorization to practice in Washington State.
- 0-2 years of registered nursing experience.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate with and work with outside agencies.
Nice To Haves
- BSN
- Mental health & chemical dependency experience.
- Experience with electronic charting.
- Knowledge of local resources and services for individuals who are homeless or low-income and those experiencing chronic behavioral health challenges or having histories of involvement in legal system(s).
- Mental Health Professional per WAC 246-341-0515.
- Experience in the direct treatment of persons who have a mental illness or who are emotionally disturbed, such experience gained under the supervision of a mental health professional per RCW 71.34.020.
Responsibilities
- Providing quality health care services to all clients including assessing somatic conditions and medical needs.
- Communicating with team members to determine appropriate treatment protocols and courses of action.
- Creating a favorable group climate for the effective treatment of each enrolled client.
- Performing clinical tasks to support the provision of quality and cost-effective medical services to behavioral health clients within the Behavioral Health Division.
