About The Position
This position performs professional nursing duties within a correctional facility, similar to outpatient services in the community. Registered nurses participate in the management of patient nursing care, provide clinical leadership, assist practitioners, plan and conduct educational sessions, administer medication, triage patient complaints, and coordinate resident care with a multi-disciplinary team including physicians, psychologists, psychiatrists, optometrists, and dentists.
Requirements
- Licensure as Registered Nurse in the State of Iowa by the Iowa Board of Nursing or licensure as a Registered Nurse in accordance with the Nurse Licensure Compact Administrator's Agreement of the National Council of State Boards of Nursing.
- Include your State of Iowa or Compact State License Number when submitting your application.
